Collective backgrounds in civil and industrial engineering, site planning, general contracting, commercial brokerage, and retail store ownership drive us to approach vertical construction and real estate development in manners both quite technical and also uniquely human and client-focused. 

Our engineering pedigrees enable us to create efficiencies and economies, refine systems and procedures, solve problems, and navigate logistical and spatial site challenges that may deter standard "turn-and-burn" builders.  Some days I envy the magnitude of tract-builder efficiencies, but at Abode/AD3 we believe that the Triangle’s growth requires opportunistic outside-the-box custom development - that 'cookie cutter' is a baking tool, not a development strategy; that even challenging sites and construction budgets present great opportunities; and that inspired living spaces should be available to Triangle residents from all walks of life.  

Small or large, affordable or lavish, whimsical or practical, owned or rented, we believe that project budget size and property ownership types are not pre-conditions to live in thoughtfully imagined space.  We have a passion for conceiving considerate and achievable spaces for all: Triangle nurses and surgeons, kindergarten teachers and college professors, restaurant owners and baristas, retail clerks and shopkeepers, first responders and doctors.  All of us need smart housing.  Why not make it beautifully unique, as well?
